Role Description As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, delivering exceptional customer service across multiple channels - including in person, by phone, and via email. You will support clients with a wide range of insurance-related needs, such as making policy changes ,answering coverage questions, comparing and shopping policies, guiding clients through the claims process, advocating on behalf of clients when needed.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Client Service
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service to clients.
- Respond to routine client inquiries regarding policies, billing, and coverage
- Advocate on the client’s behalf as required.
- Client Retention and Renewal Support
- Retain and strengthen client relationships through ongoing policy reviews, proactive renewal support, and responsive service.
- Identify coverage gaps and provide service-driven recommendations to enhance protection through cross-selling, bundling, and coverage optimization.
- Claims Support
- Provide claims counselling to clients on an ongoing basis.
- Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Follow brokerage procedures, insurer requirements, and compliance standards.
- Use brokerage management systems, customer relationship management tools,
- and Microsoft Office products efficiently.
- Develop a strong understanding of personal insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines.
- Participate actively in training programs, coaching sessions, and team meetings.
- Work toward obtaining professional designations and industry certifications.

Qualifications
Education
- Post-secondary education, or equivalent experience, is preferred
Experience
- Three to five years of personal insurance experience is preferred.
Professional Credentials
- Level 1 General Insurance License is required
- Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) Or Charted Insurance Professional (CIP) Designation or working toward either designation is considered an asset.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of personal insurance products, coverage, and settlement practices.
