Summary
The Operating Room Pool RN responsibilities include:
- RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
- RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For consideration for this position, at least 18 months of Operating Room experience as an RN is required .
CVOR experience is strongly preferred. This position is set at St. Joseph's Hospital and requires a minimum commitment of 48 hours per six-week schedule plus Call.

- Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
