Casual Overnight Shift Role
Details: Casual pickup position, call out based, for overnight shift visits.
Requires 2 or more nights of availability per week, 11:00pm – 7:00am.
We are flexible in accepting your ongoing availability.
We call out client assignments to our roster of overnight nurses.
Wage: $30.18 per hour, plus km allowance for travel between clients (where applicable)
Location of Work: Brantford and surrounding Brant County areas

What you’ll be doing:
- As an RPN, you make a difference everyday by providing the highest quality of nursing care to our clients in the Brantford and surrounding county areas. This position requires travel throughout Brantford and Brant County for client visits.
- Shift visits will be between the hours of 9am and 9pm, and require rotating availability within this window.
- This position utilizes a wide range of clinical skills, including but not limited to palliative, pediatric, wound care, intravenous therapy, and health teaching towards chronic disease prevention.
- As the primary care planner to your clients, you have the autonomy and flexibility to provide a holistic approach to care while increasing your skills through our comprehensive training, mentorship, and preceptorship programs.
- You will teach and delegate tasks and functions to various levels of staff and client family members while maintaining our industry’s highest level of practice.
- You are the nursing care expert for your community. With our efficient work schedules, you will be more focused on care time and less travel time.

Education
- Graduate from an accredited/recognized School of Nursing (evidence required)
- Current RPN or LPN registration (in good standing) with the applicable provincial licensing body
- Valid CPR certification
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written), French language proficiency considered an asset
Candidates who have been offered a position are required to provide:
- A clear criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening,
- Proof of being free from TB
- Two supervisory references
