JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment Excellence, the Recruitment Coordinator completes day-to-day recruitment activities to support the BSRx division, specifically the Talent Acquisition team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate, schedule and facilitate New Employee Orientation
• Complete all New Hire paperwork including onboarding documents, invites to company platforms, creating employee files and new hire trainings
• Coordinate onboarding with the Managers and other departments as needed
• Maintain employee files such that all required documentation, including copies of current professional registration and degrees are submitted
• Initiate and process internal promotion letters, reporting change letters, and job/title change letters as requested, and update PeopleSoft accordingly
• Manage the recruitment inbox and Request for Hire approval and requisition assignment process
• Handle payroll and benefits-related inquiries and assist employees to complete forms as part of the on-boarding process
• Maintain current knowledge on the HR Management Systems such as PeopleSoft (HRIS) and Taleo (ATS), will ensuring employee profiles are updated
• Assist with candidate reference checks and criminal background checks, as needed
• Participate and assist with ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
• Maintain current knowledge of provincial legislation relating to Employment Standards, Human Rights, Workplace Health and Safety, and Labour laws
• Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures
• Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns;
• Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
• Participates in HR Projects
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Location : Bayshore Healthcare, BSRX OFFICE, Markham ON
Candidate must be available to work the initial three months on site before moving to a Hybrid work setting.
- University degree in HR or a related field, with a preference for a HR designation.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in Human Resources as an Administrator or Coordinator with a focus on Recruitment
- Intermediate computer skills, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience working in a fast paced environment.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize request.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
The employee must demonstrate ongoing competency in completing all duties and responsibilities of this job description, in response to changes by the regulating body, as well as agreed upon specific goals and objectives.
PERFORMANCE REVIEW
Performance will be reviewed on an ongoing basis with a formal review at the end of the three-month probationary period and subsequently, on at least an annual basis. Input will be sought from employee, supervisor(s) and management. In addition, the employee will also be reviewed based on any ongoing client feedback and the extent to which performance meets expectations.
