Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Technical Business Systems Analyst - API Integrations. This position involves supporting core banking projects, including API documentation, SSO, and requirements elicitation within an IT project team. The successful candidate will bring advanced analytical skills, stakeholder engagement experience, and a strong background in Agile environments to this dynamic, results-driven role.
Pay rate range (CAD): $70.00/hr – $74.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from multiple stakeholders
- Develop clear, comprehensive API documentation, user stories, and sequence diagrams
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business and technical teams
- Collaborate effectively with product owners, BAs, and developers to ensure technical solutions align with business needs
- Support API integration efforts and provide technical guidance on SSO and API-related projects
- Maintain high standards of documentation quality and accuracy
- Assist in testing and validation of technical solutions to ensure they meet specified requirements
- Contribute to Agile team meetings, providing insights and updates on requirements progress
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand and document complex processes and workflows
Desired Skill-Set
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ideally with a focus on API and SSO documentation
- Proven expertise in requirements elicitation, facilitation, and stakeholder management
- Strong ability to analyze and document technical and business processes clearly
- Experience writing user stories, API documentation, and sequence diagrams
- Familiarity with core banking systems and processes (strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and environments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business teams
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities that extend beyond AI tools

- Accessibility experience
- Background working within financial services or banking sectors
- Experience in requirements management tools and documentation platforms
- Knowledge of API standards, OAuth, SSO, and related security protocols
