Summary
Bell AI Fabric is building Canada's largest sovereign AI infrastructure platform. As Director, Strategy, you will work at the centre of its most important strategic, commercial, and operational priorities, helping shape decisions that will influence the future of AI infrastructure in Canada and ensuring those decisions translate into action and results.
This is a highly visible internal consulting and execution role with unusual breadth and access. Working directly with senior executives, Bell AI Fabric Board members, governments, customers, investors, and strategic partners, you will tackle complex questions with no obvious answer, bring clarity to competing perspectives, and help move the organization from discussion to decision to delivery.
Your work will span corporate strategy, partnerships, government engagement, commercial negotiations, major customer opportunities, and organizational execution. You will build the plans and governance required to deliver, step into critical moments where additional leadership or problem-solving is needed and see recommendations through to real-world outcomes.
This is a unique opportunity for a strategy or consulting professional who wants to help build something consequential, learn quickly across a wide range of issues, and have visible impact. You do not need to arrive knowing every part of the business; success will come from curiosity, sound judgment, strong execution, and a willingness to invest the effort required to figure things out.

- Lead structured problem-solving on complex questions related to growth, market positioning, commercial models, partnerships, major initiatives, and organizational scalability; distill complexity into clear choices, decisions, and actions.
- Rapidly develop command of unfamiliar commercial, technical, operational, and stakeholder issues by identifying the critical facts, connecting perspectives, and isolating what matters most.
- Develop decision-oriented recommendations and materials for senior executives and the Bell AI Fabric Board, presenting clear options, trade-offs, risks, and proposed actions with accuracy and a compelling narrative.
- Evaluate and advance strategic partnerships, commercial opportunities, government initiatives, customer opportunities, and other priorities that support long-term growth.
- Translate strategy into executable workplans with clear outcomes, interdependencies, milestones, owners, decision points, and escalation paths.
- Drive large, complex, cross-functional projects from initial framing through decision, implementation, and closure; govern progress, remove obstacles, and maintain momentum until the work is complete.
- Identify and fix gaps in processes, decision rights, governance, and operating cadence to improve execution, accountability, transparency, and organizational effectiveness.
Critical Qualifications
- Typically 8-12 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, infrastructure strategy, corporate development, transactions, or another environment that develops comparable strategic and execution capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, understand complex issues quickly, separate signal from noise, and translate insights into practical recommendations and action.
- Strong PowerPoint, executive communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to develop precise and persuasive materials for senior executives and the Bell AI Fabric Board.
- Experience building and driving workplans for large, complex, cross-functional initiatives, with disciplined governance, active issue resolution, and ownership through final delivery.
- A strong orientation toward quality and detail, with the ability to reconcile analyses, narratives, decisions, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
- Sound commercial judgment and negotiation capability, with the persistence to help close agreements, decisions, and outstanding projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to govern, align, and mobilize senior stakeholders without formal authority.
- High capacity and strong organization, with the ability to manage several urgent priorities, sustain pace, and improve the completeness and quality of the work.
- Ability to operate with increasing independence, anticipate needs, step into unfamiliar issues, and invest the effort required to build understanding and deliver results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Management consulting experience or equivalent training in structured problem-solving, analysis, executive communication, and high-quality delivery.
- Strong research and synthesis capability, intellectual curiosity, and a demonstrated interest in learning and becoming credible on new topics.

- Comfort operating with ambiguity and making clear recommendations when information is incomplete.
- Consistently high standards for quality, accuracy, pace, ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
- A practical, low-ego working style and willingness to step into priorities where additional leadership, capacity, or problem-solving is required.
