Senior Salesforce Technical Lead – Financial Services Implementation
Location: Toronto, ON or Montreal, QC (Hybrid – 4 days/week on-site)
Job Description:
We're looking for a Senior Salesforce Technical Lead to join a large-scale Salesforce implementation for a major financial services client. This is a high-visibility banking engagement in a fast-paced, agile delivery environment - ideal for a hands-on technical leader who moves fluidly between architecture, development, and mentoring.
What You'll Do
- Design and build scalable, well-architected applications on the Salesforce platform, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Develop complex, high-performing UIs using Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Architect advanced automation using both point-and-click (Flow, Process Builder) and code-based approaches (Apex triggers, classes, batch jobs)
- Design synchronous and asynchronous processing patterns for responsive, high-throughput solutions
- Apply Salesforce integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, middleware) to connect with core enterprise systems
- Design and implement security models - sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, field-level security
- Design and tune solutions for large data volume (LDV) operations at enterprise scale
- Leverage Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and OmniStudio
- Lead delivery teams through design, build, and deployment; bring best practices from prior large consultancy engagements
What You Need to Succeed
- 10+ years of web-based application design/development experience, including 8+ years on Salesforce
- Expertise in complex UI development with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Advanced automation skills (point-and-click + code-based)
- Proficiency with synchronous and asynchronous processing
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns and security models
- Experience with large data volume (LDV) operations
- Experience leading large-scale implementations, preferably through a large consultancy (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte)
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Solid understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and OmniStudio
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2) certification - required
