Business Analyst – Junior

Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid, with up to 1 day onsite per week at the Hiring Manager’s discretion

Contract: November 2, 2026 – October 5, 2027

Duration: 250 business days Schedule: Monday to Friday

Incorp Rate: $60-$64.33

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join the ONE ID Business Support team within Digital Excellence in Health.

ONE ID is a foundational identity and access management service supporting a broad range of digital health solutions used by healthcare professionals across Ontario.

The successful candidate will provide operational business analysis, client support, onboarding, IAM process support, data quality validation, and process improvement activities. This role will support EHR modernization, ONE ID change management and adoption initiatives, and the ongoing operational needs of a growing portfolio of digital health services.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a high-volume operational environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and adherence to service-level timelines are critical.

Must-Have Qualifications

LinkedIn URL included on resume.
2+ years of experience as an operational Business Analyst within IT, digital health, or a similar technology environment.
Hands-on experience providing client support and client onboarding.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in relation to data integrity and accuracy.
Solid understanding of data integrity and data quality principles.
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with experience communicating with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders in an operational environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet SLA-driven timelines.
Demonstrated experience interpreting, analyzing, and executing business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Business Analysis & Support

Support day-to-day ONE ID operational activities, including client requests, partner inquiries, incidents, and escalations.
Ensure operational requests are managed accurately and within established Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
Analyze business processes and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Create, maintain, and update process documentation as business and operational requirements evolve.
Support testing of new features and functionality in lower environments.
Participate in client health validation and operational readiness activities.

Client Onboarding & Adoption

Coordinate and support ONE ID client onboarding and adoption activities.
Assist with client engagement, communications, enablement, and follow-up activities.
Respond to client and partner inquiries and provide clear, timely communication.
Support change management and adoption initiatives associated with ONE ID and EHR modernization.

Identity & Access Management

Execute operational Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes.
Support end-user authentication and authorization activities.
Assist with registration, enrolment, authorization, and security configuration processes.
Ensure IAM activities are completed accurately and in accordance with established procedures and security requirements.

Data Quality & Process Improvement

Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across operational processes.
Identify data quality issues and support investigation and resolution.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency and client experience.
Maintain accurate documentation and records supporting operational activities.

Desired Qualifications

Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced operational environment.
Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience with business intelligence tools, dashboards, or reporting systems.
Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
Experience working within an Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework.
Experience within the digital health ecosystem.
Previous public sector or government experience is preferred.

Key Deliverables

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering:

Effective operational support for ONE ID services, ensuring client requests, incidents, and escalations are managed within established service levels.
Successful coordination and support of client onboarding and adoption, including client engagement, communication, and enablement.
Accurate execution of IAM operational processes, including registration, enrolment, authorization, and security configuration support.
Accurate and timely data validation and support for data quality activities.
Meaningful contributions to process improvements and process documentation that enhance operational efficiency.
Clear and accurate operational documentation and knowledge transfer throughout the engagement.

Work-from-Home Requirements

The client will provide the resource with an Agency laptop.

The resource is responsible for providing:

At least one additional monitor.
External keyboard and mouse.
A private home-office workspace. Working from an open or communal space is not permitted.
A hard-wired internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to support the technical requirements of the role.

If the home-office requirements cannot be met, the resource may be required to work full-time onsite, and the hybrid work arrangement will no longer be available.
