Analyst, Corporate Treasury

Vacancy Status: Replacement
As the Analyst, Corporate Treasury, you will be responsible for assisting with cash and debt management activities, banking, analytics and reporting. You will also be responsible for:
- Daily cash management activities including cash positions, forecasting and reporting
- Downloading daily banking statements and updating daily cash forecast and outstanding cheque listing
- Reviewing monthly banking fees and work with banks to correct any identified errors
- Processing outgoing wire payments and intra-bank transfers
- Credit Facility administration and management; including sending drawdown, repayment, and rollover notices
- Bank account management; opening/closing accounts, maintaining authorized signers, KYC reporting
- Supporting the sites and property accounting group with banking inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner
- Preparing audit confirmations and compliance reporting for bank accounts and loans
- Supporting audit requests for the Treasury department
- Assisting with quarterly Treasury internal controls
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships and consistent communication with our banks, financial institutions, and with key internal business partners
- Identifying efficiencies and implementing process improvements
- Documenting and maintaining operational procedures and processes relating to analytical and reporting processes
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Other duties and projects as required
Requirements:
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who are results driven, proactive, and adaptable. If this opportunity sounds interesting to you, you likely have the following attributes:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Professional designation or working towards CTP or similar is preferred, or progress towards one
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting
- Experience in Corporate Treasury and/or Real Estate is considered an asset
- Knowledge, experience, and/or enthusiasm for Corporate Treasury
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg and Yardi is an asset
- Strong accounting knowledge base and ability to grasp technical financial principles
- Ability to analyze financial data and utilize Excel for modeling and manipulating large volumes of data
- Work well under tight timelines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various levels of staff including functional leaders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Compensation:
At Primaris, we believe in rewarding talent with competitive wages and total compensation package. Your compensation is thoughtfully determined based on factors such as location, job level, relevant education or training, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, while ensuring internal equity and alignment with market data.
Expected Salary Range: CAD $70,000 – $75,000
