Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and government information relevant to Business Architecture and facilitate stakeholder consultations and workshops.
- Develop and maintain enterprise business capabilities aligned with corporate strategy and business plans.
- Develop and maintain Business Architecture artifacts in accordance with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and government standards.
- Model business capabilities, functions, processes, services, outcomes, and accountabilities at enterprise and core business levels.
- Develop capability models and map business capabilities to internal and external resources.
- Develop business transformation plans in collaboration with senior business stakeholders.
- Support the development of enterprise blueprints that align strategic objectives with business and technology requirements.
- Develop and maintain architectural governance, controls, and standards.
- Ensure Business Architecture documentation is aligned with Solution Requirements and Information Architecture documentation.
- Support enterprise architecture governance and review processes.
- Work across projects and portfolios to ensure alignment and consistency of business architecture.
Must-Have Requirements
- 10+ years of total IT experience, including at least 5 years of Business Architecture experience on large, complex projects.
- Hands-on experience developing Business Architectures using Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture methodologies and GO-ITS.
- Experience developing Program Area Business Architecture and Business Architecture Documentation (BAD) according to OPS standards and industry best practices.
- Experience aligning Business Architecture Documentation with Solution Requirements Documents (SRD) and Information Architecture Documents (IAD) to ensure vertical integration.
- Experience working with governments or large organizations on enterprise or core-level Business and Information Architecture.
- Strong experience with Business Function Modeling, Business Process Modeling, Services Modeling, BPMN, Value Chain Analysis, Business Outcomes, KPIs, and Performance Measures.
- Experience developing optimized future-state business models and identifying opportunities for horizontal business integration.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, negotiation, consensus-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with executives and senior management.
- Ability to lead and support enterprise architecture engagement processes across projects and portfolios.

This is a fully onsite role requiring candidates to work from the Toronto office 5 days per week.
