Our client, an established organization based in downtown Toronto, is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join their finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting financial planning, executive reporting, business decision-making, and financial systems optimization.
- Salary range: $75K-$85K plus annual incentive bonus

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Forecasting: Assist in coordinating the multi-year planning process, annual operational budgets, and periodic rolling forecasts across key operational lines.
Management Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial packages, executive dashboards, and budget-to-actual variance reports with clear explanations of core drivers.
Business Decision Support: Partner with department managers to review financial performance, evaluate expenditure requests, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Financial & Scenario Modeling: Build dynamic financial models, scenario analyses, and unit-economic breakdowns to evaluate program growth, pricing models, and operational changes.
Systems & Process Improvement: Support the integration, optimization, and data consistency between core cloud accounting software, reporting tools, and relational databases/CRM systems.
Vendor & Project Spend Analysis: Assess project ROI, cost-benefit outcomes, and deliverable tracking for significant professional services and consultant expenditures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational modeling.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in cloud-based ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and database integrations.
Advanced Excel Skills: Expertise with complex lookup functions, pivot tables, scenario modeling, and dynamic dashboard creation.
Professional Designations: Active pursuit or completion of a professional designation (CPA, CFA, or similar) is an asset.
Industry Background: Prior exposure to corporate, institutional, or service-driven organizational environments is preferred.
