About the Role
BMC Minerals is seeking an Administration & Communications Coordinator to join our Vancouver office.
This is a broad and varied role supporting the company across office management, executive assistance, investor relations coordination, internal communications, major industry events, and annual sustainability reporting.
The Administration & Communications Coordinator will report to the CEO and will work closely with the company’s Vice Presidents, Company Secretary, external Investor Relations team, and service providers.
This is a full-time, Vancouver-based position.
Salary Range: $95,000–$110,000
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate BMC’s participation in major industry events, including PDAC, Roundup, and Yukon Geoscience.
- Coordinate periodic updates to the BMC website using an outsourced service provider.
- Collaborate with BMC’s external Investor Relations team and Company Secretary to support the preparation of public releases and investor presentations.
- Coordinate preparation of the annual Sustainability Report in collaboration with the company’s Vice Presidents.
- Prepare the quarterly newsletter and other internal and external communications as required.
- Manage the Vancouver office, including lease-related matters through BMC’s agent and coordination of IT service providers.
- Manage communications through group and shared email accounts.
- Act as Executive Assistant to the CEO and provide administrative support to the Vice Presidents.
- Support presentations, meetings, events, and other corporate initiatives.
- Perform other communications and administrative duties as required by the CEO.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the confidence and professionalism to represent the company at external events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong document formatting and presentation skills.
- Ability to create polished, professional business documents and presentations.
- Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
- Degree or diploma in Commerce, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
