Do you have experience in building maintenance and renovations? To ensure our Resident Members’ peace of mind, we are looking for a talented candidate to address all maintenance requests and emergencies. If you are passionate about fixing things, good with your hands, and mechanically adept, this role is for you!

Responsibilities
Meet with all new Associates on their first day of work
Conduct hands-on training with all new Associates, following mentorship training guides
Provide ongoing feedback to Associates during training including face to face and written testing
Conduct formal training as needed
Follow-up with new Associates on a weekly basis
Continue to be available as a resource to new Associates after training is complete
Provide feedback to Leader on new Associate training
Provide Leader with updates regarding the necessity of additional training or recertification
Conduct necessary retraining with existing Associates
Develop training guides or procedure manuals per Leader / Human Resources requests
Ongoing review and implementation of improvements to mentorship program
Liaise and participate with Human Resources / Leaders regarding the effectiveness of mentorship program
Experience And Educational Requirements
Post Secondary Education preferred
Boardwalk Experience in necessary positions
Technical Requirements
Strong knowledge of tools, parts, building maintenance and operations
Strong knowledge of Boardwalk applications – BPMS, BPMS Mobile, and BOSS
Familiarity with computer tablets, and ability to train on use, is an asset
Non-Technical Requirements
Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and oral
Dedicated to building better communities for all our Customers and surrounding communities
Able to troubleshoot site technical issues
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and time-management skills
Experience dealing with day-to-day business operations
Deadline and goal oriented
Exceptional team building and leadership skills, including ability to motivate and lead other Associates in a team environment
Ability to work independently and with other Associates in a team environment
Ability to create trust and build lasting business relationships
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, and the workloads of others
Eager to take on new challenges and to challenge the status quo of doing things
Must have vehicle and clean driving record
Willing to travel
Participate in additional formal training
