What are your contributions to the team?
- You are currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate university program in an Engineering discipline.
- You bring strong programming and development foundations in Python, SQL, React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
- You are experienced with the Microsoft Office Suite and capable of utilizing modern digital productivity tools.
- You are detail-oriented, professional, and able to thrive collaboratively as a team player in a dynamic environment.
- You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
How to thrive in this role?
- Design and deploy full-stack web applications and internal tools using React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS to support smart factory initiatives and manufacturing operations.
- Engineer backend automation scripts and data integration pipelines with Python and SQL, leveraging operational data to drive real-time insights and transformation on the shop floor.
- Build custom internal applications and management tools that streamline communication and workflows across cross-functional engineering teams.
- Assist with strategic software and digital transformation initiatives associated with advanced aircraft programs such as the Global 8000 and 55/6500.
- Explore research on emerging software architectures and AI applications relevant to manufacturing operations, helping provide technical insights for upcoming pilot projects.
- Prepare governance materials, technical documentation, and project updates for operational improvement projects reviewed by senior management.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
