With offices across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and India, we are building a global healthcare technology company with an ambitious vision: to become the AI operating system and growth infrastructure for private-pay healthcare.
Our next phase requires strong financial controls, reliable reporting, and disciplined execution.
As Senior Vice President, Canadian Operations, you will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to ensure that the Canadian organization operates efficiently, consistently, and at scale.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity with meaningful influence over the growth, strategy, organizational development, customer experience, process improvement, and execution of the Canadian business. We are looking for a strategic and operational leader who brings the judgment, ownership, and execution skills to help build the infrastructure required for a rapidly growing SaaS organization.
Your Role in a Nutshell
You will oversee the day-to-day operational performance of the Canadian business while working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team on growth, strategy, organizational development, customer experience, process improvement, and execution.
Working closely with leadership and operational teams, you will build teams, establish accountability, improve processes, manage KPIs, solve operational problems, and drive consistent execution across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator and strategic leader who can move between high-level business strategy and day-to-day execution. You should be comfortable building teams, establishing accountability, improving processes, managing KPIs, solving operational problems, and creating the infrastructure required for a rapidly growing SaaS organization.
What You Will Do
Canadian Operations Leadership
- Take overall ownership of the operational performance of BoomerangFX's Canadian business.
- Translate company strategy into clear operational priorities, objectives, and execution plans.
- Establish accountability across Canadian teams and ensure priorities are executed effectively.
- Build scalable operating structures, processes, and management routines to support continued growth.
- Act as a senior operational partner to the CEO and executive leadership team.
- Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities and drive timely resolution.
Business Performance & KPIs
- Establish and manage a comprehensive Canadian operating KPI framework.
- Develop dashboards and reporting that provide leadership with clear visibility into business performance.
- Monitor revenue, customer growth, retention, implementation performance, productivity, operating costs, employee performance, and other critical metrics.
- Establish regular operating reviews with functional leaders.
- Use data and analytics to identify trends, make decisions, and improve performance.
- Hold leaders accountable for agreed targets and operational outcomes.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Review existing business processes and identify inefficiencies, duplication, gaps, and unnecessary complexity.
- Standardize processes across teams and locations where appropriate.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve productivity, quality, speed, and customer experience.
- Establish clear SOPs, workflows, ownership structures, and performance standards.
- Drive automation and technology adoption to reduce manual work and improve scalability.
- Partner with the Finance Transformation and technology teams on cross-functional transformation initiatives.
Customer Operations
- Ensure customers receive a consistent, high-quality experience throughout their relationship with BoomerangFX.
- Work closely with Customer Success, Implementation, Support, Sales, and Product leadership to identify and resolve operational issues affecting customers.
- Establish processes for monitoring customer onboarding, implementation timelines, escalations, retention, and service quality.
- Identify recurring customer issues and ensure root causes are addressed rather than simply resolving individual problems.
- Develop escalation and issue-resolution frameworks for complex customer situations.
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead, develop, and mentor senior managers and operational leaders.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, performance expectations, and accountability.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on ownership, collaboration, and execution.

Work closely with:

- Participate in annual and long-term strategic planning for the Canadian business.
- Translate strategic initiatives into measurable operational plans.
- Assess operational requirements associated with new products, markets, customers, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity, customer retention, and scalability.
- Provide the CEO and executive team with objective operational insights and recommendations.
Financial & Resource Management
- Partner with Finance to develop and manage Canadian operating budgets.
- Monitor operating expenses and resource utilization.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and cost efficiency without compromising customer experience or growth.
- Support business cases for new hires, technology investments, vendors, and operational initiatives.

- Lead the operational side of major organizational and technology changes.
- Ensure teams understand why changes are being made and how they impact their responsibilities.
- Establish implementation plans, communication plans, training requirements, and adoption metrics.
- Monitor execution and address resistance or implementation challenges.
What We’re Looking For
- Meaningful operating experience in the early and scaling stages of SaaS business is strongly preferred; experience solely within large, established SaaS organizations is not sufficient for this role.
- 10+ years of experience in SaaS, with progressive operational leadership experience, ideally within a software technology, fintech, or other high-growth, scaling organization.
- Has personally led or been a core operator in scaling a SaaS company from $0 to $10M+ ARR.
- Proven ability to scale the business beyond revenue growth –building the teams, processes, systems, operating cadence, and accountability structures required as an organization grows.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and economics, including customer lifecycle, recurring revenue, retention, implementation, customer success, and key SaaS performance metrics.
- Demonstrated experience translating company strategy into execution, establishing priorities, KPIs, operating rhythms, and accountability across functions.
- Experience partnering closely with and aligning GTM, Customer Success, Product/Technology, Finance, and People/HR to drive company-wide performance.
- Proven track record of process improvement and operational excellence, including implementing systems, automation, and technology-enabled workflows that improve efficiency and scalability.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to understand and manage P&L, budgets, margins, forecasting, unit economics, and overall business performance.
- Experience building and developing high-performing teams and leaders, including organizational design, hiring, performance management, and creating a culture of accountability.
- Exceptional executive communication, leadership, influence, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively with a CEO, executive team, Board, customers, and other key stakeholders.
- Hands-on, data-driven, and highly execution-oriented, with the ability to move between strategic planning and solving day-to-day operational challenges in a high-growth environment.
- Experience working directly with a CEO, executive leadership team, and/or Board is strongly preferred.
How You Work
You are an operator first – someone who turns strategy into execution and execution into measurable results.
You know how to look at a growing business, identify what us getting in the way of scale, and make it better. You naturally ask:
- Where are we losing time?
- Where are customers experiencing friction?
- Where are teams duplicating work or operating without clear ownership?
- Who owns this process, and is it working?
- What KPI tells us whether we’re getting the right outcome?
- What can we automate, simplify or eliminate?
- Where are we spending money without getting sufficient value?
- What needs to change – organizationally, operationally, or technologically, to enable the next stage of growth?
You are not a strategy-only executive who creates presentations and recommendations. You are accountable for execution, outcome and results. You roll up your sleeves, get into the details when necessary, and know when to step back and empower your team.
You are comfortable challenging the status quo, holding leaders accountable, making difficult trade-offs, and bringing clarity to complex problems. You build the people, processes, systems, and operating rhythms that allow a high-growth SaaS company to scale without losing speed, customer focus, or discipline.
You are equally comfortable in the boardroom and in the weeds - able to partner with the CEO on company strategy while also asking why a process takes five days when it should take five hours.
Most importantly, you have been through the scaling journey yourself. You understand what changes at each stage of growth and have meaningful experience building and operating the infrastructure required to take a SaaS business from early-stage to significant scale.
What is in it for you:
Location: Onsite – 5 days per week (Mississauga, Ontario)
Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 annual base salary + 15% annual target performance bonus
Total Target Compensation: CAD $161,000–$184,000 annually.
Performance objectives will reflect measurable outcomes in profitability, cash management, financial reporting, and operational execution.
Equity: Eligible to participate in BoomerangFX Stock Option Plan after 6 months, subject to plan terms.
Benefits:
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
- Paid vacation.
- Free on-site parking.
- Opportunity to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership on consequential business decisions.
- Meaningful responsibility for building the financial and operational foundations of a growing global technology company.
- Opportunity to shape how BFX allocates capital, improves performance, and scales internationally.
