Original job description

Overview

BOSTON PIZZA DRYDENCook -Full-time and part-time opportunities

Find your rhythm on the line. Put pride on every plate.

There’s something satisfying about a kitchen working together: prep is ready, communication is clear and great food leaves the line with care.

If you love making food, learning new skills and being part of a team that delivers together, join the opening culinary team at Boston Pizza Dryden.

Build your skills from the first service

Whether you’re exploring a future in the culinary world or bringing kitchen experience to your next opportunity, this is a place to put your energy into work you can be proud of.

You’ll work alongside our culinary supervisors and kitchen teammates to prepare dishes consistently, keep your station ready and deliver food that contributes to an exceptional guest experience.

Bring your curiosity, focus and appetite to learn. Every shift is an opportunity to get sharper.

Responsibilities

Good work deserves good opportunities

Pay that recognizes experience. Starting at $17.95 per hour, with higher starting offers considered for proven relevant experience.
Tip-Pool Incentive Initiative. Your contribution in the kitchen shares in the restaurant’s success. Earn up to an additional $6 per hour through tip-pool sharing, depending on restaurant volume. Tip-pool earnings vary, are additional to your hourly wage and are not guaranteed.
A schedule that fits your life. Full-time and part-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling that considers your availability alongside restaurant needs. Build your culinary career or earn additional income alongside another job.
· Comprehensive benefits. Access to a comprehensive benefits program for qualifying team members.
· Dining perks. Enjoy 50% off meals while working and a 10% employee and family dining discount when off duty.
· Win together. Celebrate together. Success as a team means success for all. Enjoy fun contests, team challenges and opportunities to earn perks and rewards when we reach shared goals.
· Keep developing your craft. Learn through training, coaching and practical kitchen experience, with opportunities to work toward a Culinary Supervisor role and further restaurant leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

Make every plate count

· Start strong. Prepare ingredients and set up your station so you’re ready for service.

· Cook with care. Follow recipes, cooking procedures, portion standards and presentation guidelines.

· Find your flow. Stay organized, manage cooking times and communicate with the team as orders move through the kitchen.

· Respect the details. Handle special requests and allergy information carefully, following established procedures and asking when something needs clarification.

· Back your teammates. Lend a hand, share what you know and help the kitchen succeed together.

· Respect the ingredients. Follow proper storage and rotation practices, use ingredients thoughtfully and help reduce waste.

· Keep a clean station. Make food safety, sanitation and workplace safety part of everything you do.

· Finish with pride. Complete cleaning, restocking and closing tasks so the next shift is set up for success.

Bring the right ingredients

You’re dependable, hands-on and willing to learn. You take direction well, care about consistency and understand that a great kitchen runs on respect.

Kitchen experience is an asset, but enthusiasm and good habits count. We welcome people who are ready to develop their skills and contribute to a positive team.

Aspiring culinary leader? Start by building your craft, supporting your teammates and learning how a strong kitchen operates.

Food Handler certification is an asset.

Get in on the opening

Training begins the week of November 23, 2026, with schedules to be communicated. Joining the opening training program is preferred, and individual availability and circumstances will be considered.

Shifts may include evenings, weekends and holidays, with scheduling based on restaurant needs and your availability.

Ready to get cooking

Apply online and share your résumé. Tell us what excites you about working in a kitchen and what you’re eager to learn.
