We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to support our manufacturing shop. This hands-on role offers variety, including shipping and receiving, material handling, component cleaning and preparation, and general shop support.

Key Responsibilities
- Support shipping and receiving, including checking incoming materials and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely, within training and authorization requirements.
- Complete local pickups and deliveries.
- Clean and prepare components to meet production and shipping requirements.
- Keep shop areas, machinery, and equipment clean and organized.
- Move and organize materials, tools, and components to support shop workflow.
- Cut, prepare, and deburr materials using bandsaws, cutting tools, and other equipment as trained.
- Paint components as required.
- Assist machinists, skilled tradespeople, and other shop staff with day-to-day tasks.
- Package and crate components and equipment securely to prevent damage during handling and transportation.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
- A valid Class 5 driver’s licence is required.
- Experience using basic hand and power tools is required.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, shipping and receiving, or shop support is an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude gained through work experience, training, or hands-on hobbies is an asset.

Working Conditions
- On-site work in a precision manufacturing shop.
- Standing and walking for extended periods, with regular bending and material handling.
- Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, using assistance or equipment as appropriate.
- Work around machinery, shop noise, and materials requiring appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Attention to quality and production deadlines.
- Overtime may be required based on business needs.
