About the Role
We are seeking a talented Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with a passion for building high-performance backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance Microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and release activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Agile development teams.
- Create automation scripts and tools where required.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17 preferred).
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Experience with SQL databases and data modeling concepts.
- Knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, or similar version control tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Exposure to Kafka or event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Python or Shell scripting experience.
- Spring Cloud and CI/CD exposure.
