Brandt Industries Canada Ltd. is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our Paint Department at our Saskatoon, SK location.
The Material Handler is responsible for moving materials throughout the facility and supporting both internal and external material flow. This role helps maintain a clean and organized shop by completing scheduled cleaning duties and replenishing Kanban areas. The Material Handler supports safe operations by ensuring equipment is used properly and assisting with truck loading and unloading. Additional duties may be assigned to ensure efficient daily operations. Multiple shifts are available, including day and night shifts.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- Direct responsibility for all movement of material in the facility.
- Keep to schedule cleaning duties as laid out.
- Responsible for the safety checks of appointed cranes and forklifts.
- Accountable for Waste Management. Recycle and dispose of as required.
- Assist loading and unloading of trucks in shipping and receiving as required.
- Ensure workplace safety by ensuring operators are following safety protocols and are properly trained.
- Responsible for keeping KANBAN areas replenished.
- Responsible for keeping staging areas clean and organized.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Look For
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Experience driving all terrain forklift, or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse work environment.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times.
