The Role
We are currently searching for a Procurement Coordinator, reporting to the Manager, Procurement. This vacancy is a full-time, 12-month contract opportunity. The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Procurement department, including SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, vendor setup and maintenance, purchase order administration, and procurement reporting. The incumbent works closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and the procurement team to ensure purchasing transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures. This role also provides administrative support for sourcing activities, contract administration, and supplier management initiatives.
Location
Our Corporate Office is currently located in Bolton, ON. We offer a hybrid work model requiring a minimum of three in-office days per week and on an as-needed basis depending on the role and function. As part of our continued growth, we are relocating our Corporate Office to Milton, ON with a planned entry at the end of 2027. Employees in this role will be expected to work from the Milton location once the transition is complete.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as the first point of contact for procurement-related SAP and P2P inquiries, providing system support, testing, and user guidance on procurement processes
- Coordinate vendor onboarding and supplier setup activities in compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Maintain vendor master data, purchasing information records, and supplier information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and currency
- Support the collection, maintenance, and monitoring of supplier compliance documentation and procurement governance requirements
- Assist with supplier communications related to procurement administration, onboarding, compliance, and operational requirements
- Provide administrative support for sourcing activities, including RFQs, RFIs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and procurement documentation
- Support contract administration activities, including document management, renewal tracking, and procurement record retention
- Coordinate procurement communications and issue resolution with internal stakeholders and suppliers, including support for invoice discrepancy investigations
- Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, dashboards, operational metrics, savings tracking, and KPI reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, data quality, system effectiveness, and support procurement transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education
- Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Working towards Certified Supply Chain Management Professional designation (SCMP), CPSM or equivalent considered an asset
Experience
- 2-3 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative support experience
- Minimum of 2 years of SAP or equivalent ERP systems
Skills
- Good understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- High degree of judgement, initiative and tact
- Strong planning, organizational ability to prioritize tasks to ensure successful completion
- Multi-tasking; constant concentration to meet deadlines, multiple demands, interruptions and critical deadlines
- Self-motivated, self-reliant and takes ownership
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be liaison between procurement department customers and suppliers
Compensation
