We are looking for an early-career Field Marketing Specialist to support the execution and coordination of marketing programs across Canada and the Communications, Media, Entertainment, and Gaming (CMEG) segment.
The ideal candidate will be a data-driven, analytical, highly organized, and proactive professional who can manage multiple programs simultaneously, work with advanced spreadsheets and reporting, and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
This role requires someone who is more than a task executor. The successful candidate will take ownership of programs, collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, work confidently with data, and help create scalable and repeatable marketing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of field marketing programs, including webinars, workshops, in-person events, executive events, and third-party sponsorships.
- Manage and coordinate multiple marketing programs and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Own key operational, program coordination, and execution activities.
- Support pre-event and post-event reporting, data analysis, program tracking, and sales communication activities.
- Build, maintain, and manage complex spreadsheets, trackers, reports, and program data.
- Analyze program information and provide accurate reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and increase operational efficiency.
- Support procurement management, budget tracking, and program-related administrative activities.
- Assist with creating and maintaining sales enablement materials and internal communications.
- Document program processes, deliverables, workflows, and best practices to ensure programs are scalable and repeatable.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Communications, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.
- Track project timelines, action items, deliverables, and stakeholder requirements.
- Communicate program updates, priorities, risks, and status clearly to internal stakeholders.
- Support event logistics and execution, including travel when required.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of existing processes.
Required Qualifications
- New graduate to 2–3 years of relevant experience in marketing, events, program coordination, project coordination, operations, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets, including experience managing complex spreadsheets and data.
- Strong program/project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience working with data, reporting, tracking, and program metrics.
- Strong understanding of process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership of programs and deliverables rather than simply executing assigned tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Strong technical proficiency and ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
- Strong customer-service mindset when working with internal business partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- B2B or enterprise technology/software experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with marketing programs, events, project coordination, or business operations.
- Experience with Asana, Coda, or Salesforce.
- Experience with Marketo or Swoogo.
- Experience with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail.
- Experience with Canva.
- Experience working with data analysis, reporting, dashboards, or operational trackers.
- Experience with process documentation and continuous improvement.
- French language proficiency is a major asset.
- Located in or near Toronto is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel for events when required.
- Experience working with cross-functional and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience in Agile/project-based environments is a plus.
