Britannia Woods Community Services

Britannia Woods Community Services (formerly Britannia Woods Community House) is a trusted, community-rooted nonprofit based in Ottawa’s west end. For over 45 years, we’ve been proud to serve the families of the Britannia Woods neighbourhood - and since 2015, we’ve expanded our reach to offer programs citywide.

Our work is grounded in our mission: to deliver innovative, accessible, and culturally responsive support - through an equity-focused lens - to individuals, families, and communities.

Whether it’s through after-school programs, culturally informed mental health supports, food access, or community advocacy, we meet people where they are - with empathy, respect, and a deep connection to our community’s diversity.

What We Offer: - Child & Youth Programs – Educational and recreational programs that build confidence, leadership, and belonging. - Mental Health & Wellness – Culturally grounded supports that promote healing and resilience. - Food Bank – Monthly emergency food support, as part of the Ottawa Food Bank network. - Community Engagement – Resident leadership, advocacy, and spaces for connection and care.
