Our client is one of the largest home builders in North America, with a strong focus on low-rise residential construction. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced
Senior Financial Analyst to join their Vaughan-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to join a large, established organization and take on a key role supporting financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business and operational decisions.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, trends, and key performance indicators.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Prepare management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
- Analyze project and operational financial data, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with accounting, operations, and other internal departments.
- Improve financial reporting processes, systems, and analytical tools.
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of progressive financial analysis experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong Canadian educational background preferred.
- Experience within home building, residential construction, real estate, or development is a major asset.
- Low-rise residential construction experience is highly preferred.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with financial systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000–$110,000
Location: Vaughan, ON
Work Arrangement: Fully in-office - no work-from-home option.
