Caframo Lab Solutions (CLS) is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate global growth and expand our presence in key international markets. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping CLS's market expansion strategy, strengthening our global distribution network, and bringing innovative laboratory solutions to customers around the world.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new markets, partners, and growth opportunities.
- Execute market expansion and business growth strategies.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage distributors and channel partners.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and rebate programs.
- Develop strategic plans to grow key accounts and markets.
Distributor & Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for distributors and key partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel stakeholders.
- Conduct business reviews to drive performance and growth.
- Provide partners with training, tools, and sales support.
- Collaborate with partners to identify and win new business.
Sales Growth & Profitability
- Drive revenue growth and channel profitability.
- Manage pricing, discounts, and commercial programs.
- Monitor sales performance, margins, and growth targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitive activity.
- Develop forecasts and support business planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service.
- Share customer insights, market intelligence, and competitive information.
- Support product launches and commercialization initiatives.
- Collaborate on customer-focused solutions and growth opportunities.
Education & Experience
- College diploma or university degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, International Business, Commerce, Engineering, Science, or a related field. Given the technical/scientific nature of CLS products and customers, a background in Science or Engineering is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, channel sales, account management, or international market development.
- Proven success managing distributors, representatives, or indirect sales channels.
- Experience negotiating contracts, developing growth strategies, and managing forecasts.
- International business and trade show experience are considered assets.
