Calian recherche un(e) spĂ©cialiste intermĂ©diaire du soutien logistique intĂ©grĂ© afin dâassister notre client dans la facilitation de son projet.
Responsabilités
- Participer Ă la gestion de la configuration en produisant des rapports sur les propositions de modification technique (ECP â Engineering Change Proposal) et les exigences liĂ©es aux tĂąches dâingĂ©nierie des systĂšmes, notamment :
o IntĂ©gration et mise en Ćuvre des ECP et des exigences ;
o ContrÎle des changements de portée et suivi des tùches ;
o Communications internes et externes et gestion des relations ;
o ECP et exigences fournis par des organismes gouvernementaux tels que le Conseil national de recherches ainsi que par des entreprises civiles ;
o Ăvaluation et attĂ©nuation des risques ;
o Vérification et validation indépendantes ;
o Assurance de la qualité.
- RĂ©diger des rapports sur les modifications de conception concernant lâArtillerie canadienne ainsi que ses systĂšmes, sous-systĂšmes et composants ;
- Participer aux réunions de revue de conception ;
- RĂ©diger les comptes rendus et les relevĂ©s de dĂ©cisions des rĂ©unions dâingĂ©nierie ;
- IntĂ©grer les ECP et les tĂąches dâingĂ©nierie des systĂšmes dans le SystĂšme dâinformation de gestion des ressources de la DĂ©fense (DRMIS) ;
- Examiner et corriger les publications techniques et les dessins pour en assurer la qualité du contenu et du format ;
- Mettre Ă jour DRMIS et produire des modifications aux documents liĂ©s Ă la coordination et au contrĂŽle des ECP, des tĂąches dâingĂ©nierie et autres documents ;
- Initier et complĂ©ter les modifications aux ensembles de donnĂ©es techniques (TDP â Technical Data Packages) ;
- Ălaborer des plans dâessais dâĂ©quipement afin de tester de nouvelles ressources ou des conditions spĂ©cifiques influençant lâutilisation de lâĂ©quipement ;
- RĂ©diger des messages du groupe indicateur dâadresse (AIG) pour lâEMT de lâArtillerie ;
- Appuyer lâEMT de lâArtillerie dans lâĂ©laboration des plans de mise en service pour les nouveaux Ă©quipements et les Ă©quipements de soutien supplĂ©mentaires ;
- Contribuer aux initiatives de recherche et développement (R-D) liées aux projets, incluant notamment :
o Recherche opérationnelle,
o Programmes de démonstration technologique,
o Programmes de recherche avancée,
o Groupes consultatifs en technologie ;
- Mener des activitĂ©s de retrait (divestment) liĂ©es aux systĂšmes dâartillerie ;
- Appuyer le catalogage des piĂšces, la prĂ©vision dâutilisation et la distribution des piĂšces ;
- Mettre Ă jour la gestion des activitĂ©s dâinventaire et dâapprovisionnement dans DRMIS, au besoin.
Qualifications
- DĂ©tenir un diplĂŽme de technicien(ne) en mĂ©canique provenant dâun Ă©tablissement dâenseignement reconnu*. Une qualification DP3 de technicien en armement ou QL6 de technicien en armement sera acceptĂ©e comme Ă©quivalence ;
- Avoir au moins vingt-quatre (24) mois dâexpĂ©rience, au cours des soixante (60) derniers mois, dans la rĂ©daction dâĂ©noncĂ©s des travaux ;
- Avoir au moins vingt-quatre (24) mois dâexpĂ©rience combinĂ©e, au cours des soixante (60) derniers mois, dans la rĂ©daction de bulletins techniques ou dâavis de sĂ©curitĂ© ;
- Avoir au moins vingt-quatre (24) mois dâexpĂ©rience, au cours des soixante (60) derniers mois, dans le catalogage des piĂšces. Le catalogage des piĂšces dĂ©signe « le processus dâorganisation et de documentation systĂ©matique des composants ou articles dans un catalogue pour en faciliter la consultation ».
Exigences supplémentaires
- Ătre admissible Ă lâobtention dâune cote de sĂ©curitĂ© du gouvernement au niveau Secret ;
- Avoir de lâexpĂ©rience, au cours des quarante-huit (48) derniers mois, dans lâutilisation de manuels techniques Ă©lectroniques interactifs (IETM) ;
- Avoir au moins vingt-quatre (24) mois dâexpĂ©rience, au cours des soixante (60) derniers mois, en gestion du matĂ©riel (ex. : catalogage de piĂšces, identification de lâemplacement des piĂšces, rĂ©vision des prix et de lâĂ©tat de service des piĂšces) Ă lâaide dâun logiciel de planification des ressources dâentreprise (ERP) basĂ© sur SAP ;
- Avoir au moins vingt-quatre (24) mois dâexpĂ©rience combinĂ©e, au cours des soixante (60) derniers mois, dans les activitĂ©s suivantes liĂ©es aux dessins techniques : lecture de dessins isomĂ©triques, application de modifications (redlines) et cotation des Ă©lĂ©ments ;
- Avoir de lâexpĂ©rience, au cours des 60 derniers mois, dans la mise Ă jour de bases de donnĂ©es dâinventaire lors du processus de retrait (divestment) ;
- Avoir obtenu au moins un (1) des certificats suivants : gestion du cycle de vie du matĂ©riel (LCMM) ou gestion de la chaĂźne dâapprovisionnement ;
- DĂ©tenir lâune des qualifications suivantes : DP4 technicien en armement ou QL7 technicien en armement.

Position Overview
Calian is seeking an Intermediate Integrated Logistics Support Specialist to assist our client with the facilitation of their project.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Configuration Management by reporting on both Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) and systems engineering task requirements with regards to:
- Integration and execution of the ECP and requirements;
- Scope change control and task monitoring;
- Internal and external communications and relations;
- ECP and requirements delivered by Governmental Agencies such as the National Research Council and civilian companies;
- Risk assessment and mitigation;
- Independent verification and validation; and
- Quality Assurance.
- Report on design changes to Canadian Artillery’s and their various systems, sub-systems, and components.
- Participate in design review meetings;
- Draft Records of Proceedings and Record of Decisions for engineering-related meetings;
- Incorporate ECPs and systems engineering tasks into the Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS);
- Review and apply corrections to technical publications and drawings for technical content and format;
- Update DRMIS and produce amendments to the documents relating to the coordination and control of ECPs, systems engineering tasks, and other documents;
- Initiate and complete changes to Technical Data Packages (TDPs);
- Establish equipment trial plans to test new resources or specific conditions that will affect equipment use;
- Draft Address Indicator Group (AIG) messages for the Artillery EMT;
- Assist the Artillery EMT with the development of fielding plans for both new equipment and supplementary supporting equipment;
- Consult on project-related Research & Development (R&D) initiatives, including, but not limited to:
- Operational Research,
- Technology Demonstrator Programs,
- Advanced Research Programs, and
- Technology Advisory Groups;
- Conduct divestment activities related to artillery systems;
- Assist with parts cataloguing, usage forecasting and parts distribution; and
- Update the management of inventory and procurement activities in DRMIS when required.
Qualifications
- Must have a Mechanical Technician diploma/degree from a recognized* educational institution. A Development Progress (DP) 3 Weapons Technician qualification or Qualification Level (QL) 6 Weapons Technician qualification will be accepted as diploma/degree equivalency
- Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months of experience, within the last sixty (60) months, writing Statements of Work.
- Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months of combined experience, within the last sixty (60) months, drafting technical bulletins or safety advisories
- Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months of experience, within the last sixty (60) months, in the cataloguing of parts. Cataloguing of parts refers to “the process of systematically organizing and documenting various components or items in a catalogue for easy reference”.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Secret level
- Must have experience within the last forty-eight (48) months in the use of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM).
- Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months of experience, within the last sixty (60) months, in the management of materiel (ex: Cataloguing of parts; Identifying locations of parts; or Reviewing price and serviceability of parts) using SAP based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months of combined experience, within the last sixty (60) months, completing the following actions within technical drawings: reading isometric drawings; applying redlines within technical drawings; and dimensioning items within technical drawings
- Must have experience within the last 60 months updating (an) inventory database(s) during the divestment process.
- Must have obtained one (1) of the following certificates: Life Cycle Materiel Management (LCMM); or Supply Chain Management
- Must have one of the following qualifications: DP4 Weapons Technician qualification; or QL7 Weapons Technician qualification
