About the Opportunity
Canad Inns is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Banquet Servers.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hospitality experience, working in a team-oriented environment, and supporting a variety of banquets, celebrations, and special events.
Previous banquet experience is an asset but is not required. Training will be provided to successful candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms, tables, and service areas for events.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Carry banquet trays and assist with food service.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout events.
- Support the banquet team with event setup and breakdown.
- Follow food safety, workplace safety, and customer service standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to safely carry heavy banquet trays and perform physical duties, including standing and walking for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
- Previous serving, banquet, or hospitality experience is an asset but not required.
Schedule and Work Locations
- Work schedules will vary based on event bookings and operational needs.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
- Opportunities may be available at multiple Canad Inns banquet locations.
Training ProvidedSuccessful candidates will receive approximately 4–6 hours of banquet service training to help prepare them for their responsibilities.
