Original job description

We are seeking a skilled Cook 1 to join our team. As a Cook 1, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and standards. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality dishes that are both visually appealing and delicious.

Responsibilities:

Prepare sauces, soups, and hot entrees for service and special functions, insuring that all stations are set for forecasted covers.
Maintain food quality and adherence to company standards.
Assures that all kitchen personnel and servers are aware of specials, plate presentations, and prices.
Suggest daily specials that incorporate seasonal or special order ingredients.
Coordinate service with restaurant and banquet operations.
Other related tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Relevant experience 2+ years preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
