Original job description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Banquet Server to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by providing exceptional customer service and delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Prepare banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Serve food and beverages to guests professionally and courteously.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences.
Knowledge of banquet service procedures and etiquette is a plus.
Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays as required.
Must maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene habits.
Ability to work effectively in environments with loud noise levels, large crowds, and occasionally challenging guest situations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to stand, walk, and remain on their feet while performing job duties for the duration of the shift.
