We're recruiting on behalf of a high-growth Real Estate company in Toronto (4 days/week in office) for a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA or CPA) ready to make their mark.
What you'll own:
- Own the close. Take the lead on assigned account reconciliations and variance analyses - investigating issues, clearly communicating results, and preparing, reviewing, and posting month-end journal entries, including intercompany and elimination entries.
- Drive the numbers, cross-border. Manage assigned month-end and quarter-end close activities, partnering closely with the U.S. accounting team to resolve questions and review results.
- Shape the story. Support the design, preparation, and review of corporate and standalone financial statements, supplemental disclosures, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders - with exposure to new joint venture and securitization transactions.
- Build a smarter process. Strengthen reporting by refining and documenting month-end procedures, and identify practical ways to bring data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools into reconciliations and variance analysis.

What you bring:
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA-CA or CPA)
- 3+ years of progressive experience at a major public accounting firm
- Strong technical grounding in IFRS/US GAAP
- Real estate experience is an asset, not a requirement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
