They are seeking a highly capable CPA who thrives in supporting new initiatives and managing diversified responsibilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive mindset, ownership of key accounting processes, and adaptability to a dynamic launch environment.
Key responsibilities and oversight:
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Establish and document accounting processes, controls, and reconciliations from inception.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
- Assist in developing scalable controls and monitoring procedures as volume increases.
- Generate manual journal entries with comprehensive documentation for compliance.
- Provide financial analysis and support ad-hoc audit or strategic projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial processes and reporting.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- CPA designation with experience supporting complex accounting functions.
- Strong IFRS knowledge, ERP familiarity.
- Qualified accountant from a major public accounting firm
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Self-starter attitude with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
- Adaptable and open to change
