We're Hiring: Program Coordinator, National Apprenticeship Initiatives
📍 Toronto, Canada (mostly remote, with weekly in-office days) | 🕒 Full-Time | Eligible to work in Canada | 🗣️ Bilingual (English & French) required
The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum (CAF-FCA) is looking for a bilingual, detail-oriented, and self-directed Program Coordinator to help deliver a national, federally funded apprenticeship initiative.

This opportunity will support a project of national scope that will make a real impact in the lives of Canadians coast to coast.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll provide operational, administrative, and data tracking support that keeps our program running efficiently and audit-ready, including:
🗂️ Program Administration
- Maintain accurate records, track employer participation and incentive approvals, and keep documentation audit-ready
📊 Data Entry & Tracking
- Update employer and apprentice data, monitor progress toward targets, and maintain internal dashboards
📈 Reporting Support
- Help prepare quarterly and annual reports, compile data summaries, and coordinate reporting deadlines
🤝 Stakeholder & Partner Support
- Be a first point of contact for program inquiries, assist in the coordination of partner meetings, and maintain stakeholder contacts in collaboration with the Partnership Manager
📅 Administrative Support
- Manage project calendars, track deliverables, and support event and travel coordination
🌐 Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with CAF's communications and finance teams, and contribute to broader CAF initiatives
What You Bring
- College diploma or university degree in administration, project management, public administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of experience in program coordination, project administration, or a similar role - ideally in a data-intensive setting
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in both English and French
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills; experience with Trello or similar tools is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation management
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment, managing competing deadlines
- Experience with government-funded programs is an asset
