Role Description The CNC Break Press and NC Turret Punch Press Operator is a full-time, on-site role based at our Brantford, ON facility. In this position, the operator sets up and runs CNC brake press and Turret Punch Press machinery to form metal components according to specifications and production schedules. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings, choosing appropriate tooling, and performing measurements to ensure dimensional accuracy. The role involves monitoring machine performance, performing basic maintenance, and identifying issues that may affect safety, quality, or productivity. The operator works closely with the production team to meet deadlines, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery, including experience with CNC brake press equipment.
- Knowledge of Machining and Milling processes related to metal fabrication.
- Experience in Quality Control, including inspecting parts, using measuring tools, and documenting results.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety, accuracy, and meeting production standards.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine machine maintenance.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication is an asset.
- Willingness to work on-site full time in Brantford, ON and collaborate with a diverse production team.
