Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Lobby Ambassador / Luggage Porter to be the face of our company and help wow each and every guest.
Accountabilities:
- Be an Ambassador to the hotel, creating memorable experiences for each and every guest as they arrive and depart through the front doors.
- Provide warm, sincere and engaging service that ensures guests feel welcome.
- Treat each and every guest as a unique individual.
- Assist guests with their luggage upon arrival and departure, including loading, unloading, transporting and storing luggage as required.
- Assist with delivering luggage and other items to guest rooms and retrieving luggage upon departure.
- Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or identify appropriate providers.
- Gather, summarize and provide local knowledge to inform guests about the property and surrounding area amenities, including special events and local activities.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized and welcoming lobby and luggage storage area.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance.
- Provide courteous and professional services at all times.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time position, primarily scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
- Ability to lift, carry and transport guest luggage safely.
- Ability to work independently.
