The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks paid i.e., 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks paid to rest. |

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Project Engineer Capital, the project engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of construction projects at our mining site. Their main responsibilities include:
- Conducting tendering processes for engineering and project implementation.
- Monitoring project progress and budget tracking.
- Compiling diverse activity reports.
- Ensuring the progress of work according to plans and specifications, in the short and medium term.
- Working closely with various departments of the company.
- Providing technical support for the implementation of various improvement projects.
- Addressing company health and safety requirements and recommendations.
- Performing other related tasks associated with this position.
Qualifications Assets
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Water Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (Quebec's engineering association).
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Experience in project management and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Assets
- Experience in heavy industry or in the mining and metals field.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite software.
- Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset to facilitate and improve our internal communications.
