The Consultant, Store Concept Renewal supports the successful delivery of Store Design and Renewal initiatives across the enterprise by coordinating project intake, enabling effective planning, and driving cross-functional alignment. This role provides project management support, maintains visibility to team capacity, and identifies opportunities to enhance processes and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do:
Project Intake & Planning
- Support intake and prioritization of Store Design & Renewal projects, ensuring alignment to enterprise and banner priorities.
- Partner with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and resource requirements for new initiatives.
Capacity & Resource Management
- Monitor and maintain the team capacity tool to ensure accurate tracking of workloads and resource allocation.
- Provide insights to support decision-making on prioritization, timelines, and resourcing across active and planned projects.
Project Management Support
- Provide project management support including developing and tracking timelines, managing budgets, and identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ensure projects are progressing according to plan and proactively escalate issues where required.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to align on project objectives, deliverables, and key milestones.
- Facilitate clear communication across stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment throughout project execution.
Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and processes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the development of sustainable, standardized approaches to project management and capacity planning.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Design, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, or operations within a retail, design, or cross-functional environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and organizational discipline.
- Experience supporting project timelines, budgets, and risk management within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools to track capacity, manage resources, and support decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of more efficient workflows.
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills and experience with project management or capacity planning tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Our typical hiring range is between $53,000.00 and $88,000.00 CAD Annual. The target salary range is between $55,000 and $60,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
