Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Kinesiologist role based in East Vancouver, BC. The Kinesiologist will work with ICBC and WSBC concussion clients, assess clients’ movement patterns, functional abilities, and activity limitations, and design individualized exercise and rehabilitation programs. Daily responsibilities include guiding clients through therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress, documenting treatment plans and outcomes, and coordinating care with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other team members. The role also involves educating clients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and healthy movement habits, and adapting programs to meet changing goals and clinical needs. The Kinesiologist will contribute to a positive clinic environment by maintaining professional standards, ensuring clear communication, and supporting continuous improvement in client services.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation, with the ability to assess movement and develop functional exercise programs.
- Skills in Concussion Management including conducting outcome measures, providing education, and developping rehab programs for a successful return to work/sport/school.
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology; registration or eligibility for registration with BCAK.
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a clinical or rehabilitation setting, preferably in collaboration with physiotherapists or other healthcare professionals.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and educate clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills, clinical documentation accuracy, and professionalism in an on-site, team-based environment.
