Planning & Scheduling Manager – Nuclear Refurbishment
CCL Global is seeking experienced Planning & Scheduling professionals for an international opportunity.
This role is particularly relevant to professionals from the Canadian nuclear market who have supported major CANDU programmes and are open to an overseas assignment.

The Role
The Planning & Scheduling Manager will take a senior role in the planning, integration and control of a major nuclear refurbishment programme, working across multiple engineering, construction and outage workstreams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and coordinate project planning and scheduling activities.
- Develop, maintain and manage integrated project schedules.
- Integrate contractor and subcontractor schedules into the overall programme.
- Monitor critical path, milestones, interfaces and schedule performance.
- Support detailed outage and refurbishment planning.
- Identify schedule risks, constraints and potential impacts to programme delivery.
- Develop mitigation and schedule recovery strategies where required.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Project Management teams.
- Provide schedule analysis, forecasting and progress reporting to senior project leadership.
- Support change control and assessment of schedule impacts.
- Lead and provide direction to project planning and scheduling personnel.
Essential Experience
Candidates must have previous CANDU nuclear outage and/or refurbishment experience to be considered.
- Extensive Planning & Scheduling experience within nuclear power.
- Direct experience supporting CANDU reactor outages, life-extension or refurbishment programmes.
- Major EPC, construction, commissioning or nuclear maintenance programme experience.
- Strong Primavera P6 and integrated scheduling capability.
- Critical Path Method (CPM), schedule analysis and recovery planning experience.
- Experience integrating complex multidisciplinary schedules.
- Strong understanding of nuclear project controls and outage execution.
- Previous experience leading planners/schedulers or managing a planning function.
International Opportunity
This is an expatriate assignment and candidates must be willing and able to work internationally for the duration of the project.
