Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 4th Class ABSA-Certified Power Engineer – Required.
- Previous process operations experience; refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary Process Operations/Power Engineering education is an asset.
- Strong process safety, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Current Fall Protection and Confined Space certification through Energy Safety Canada or Alberta Construction Training Institute.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, enter confined spaces, and safely wear a respirator/SCBA.
- Must have personal FR clothing and CSA-approved safety boots; other PPE provided.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, and turnaround periods.
- Must live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate at own expense.
