Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team
Coordinate patient care
Evaluate patient care and progress
Implement an interdisciplinary plan of care
Interpret medical test results
Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition
Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests
Perform diagnostic tests
Plan patient care
Care for, assess and monitor the health of newborns and refer infants to appropriate medical services as required
Advise patients on health care
Examine patients and take their medical histories and consult with physicians and other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
Conduct patient interviews, physical assessments and take medical histories
Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
Provide health maintenance education
