Choices Markets is seeking a motivated and experienced Bakery Lead Hand to support the daily operations of our bakery department. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring high standards of product quality, food safety, customer service, and team execution.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day bakery operations.
Ensure product quality, freshness, and merchandising standards are maintained.
Coordinate production schedules and inventory levels.
Monitor waste and identify opportunities to improve department performance.
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with product inquiries.
Collaborate with store leadership to achieve sales and operational objectives.
Qualifications
Previous bakery, food service, or retail leadership experience preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a fast-paced environment.
