CTR Catholic invites applications for the position of Payroll Coordinator. The primary role of Coordinator of Payroll Services is to provide subject matter expertise and customer service to both internal and external customers while performing day-to-day monthly operational payroll and benefits functions for Teaching and Substitute Teaching Staff. The Payroll Coordinator will provide supervision, training, mentoring and support to the Payroll Officer, Human Resource team, Employees and Senior Management team.
This role performs day-to-day operational payroll activities while providing high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate needs a strong working knowledge of payroll processing, employment standards, benefits and pension administration and applicable legislative requirements to ensure payroll is processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with established standards. The successful candidate will also need to maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and respond to inquiries from employees, administrators, and third-party providers regarding payroll, benefits, and pension matters. This role adheres to established payroll deadlines, third-party reporting and filing requirements, administrative procedures, organizational needs and applicable government legislation.
A Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designation from the National Payroll Institute with full-cycle payroll experience in both payroll and benefit administration is required. 10 years of full-cycle experience in payroll, benefits and pension administration is required. Experience and proficiency with ATRF pension, Microsoft tools, especially excel and extensive accounting experience is a requirement of the role.
