About the role
We're a promotional merchandise agency in Vaughan looking for a highly organized, trustworthy right hand to the owner. You'll start by taking ownership of the proposal, quote, and showroom work that keeps deals moving, plus the day-to-day admin and operations work that keeps the business running, and as you learn how we work, you'll take on more responsibility across general accounting support, and eventually team oversight and marketing execution. This is a role with real room to grow into an Operations Manager position for the right person.
What you'll own from day one
- Preparing client proposals and quotes using our pricing, templates, and past examples
- Following up on outstanding quotes and client emails to keep deals moving
- Keeping the showroom and product samples organized, current, and presentation-ready
- Ordering and managing office and operational supplies within an agreed budget
- Managing the owner's calendar, scheduling, and day-to-day priorities
- Handling the miscellaneous day-to-day tasks that come with running a growing business
- Coordinating and booking Product Knowledge sessions with vendors
What you'll grow into
- Running recurring vendor relationships and simple standard operating procedures
- Coordinate spec sample order for reps from various vendors
- Supporting day-to-day team check-ins and follow-through on tasks
- Executing marketing campaigns and content calendars against a strategy set by the owner
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in an administrative, coordinator, sales support, or account coordinator role
- Comfortable writing clear, professional, client-facing emails and quotes
- Excellent follow-through, comfortable owning a task end-to-end without needing to be reminded
- In-office attendance
- Comfortable with numbers and detail-oriented enough for basic bookkeeping support
- Discreet and trustworthy, this role will have visibility into finances, and team performance
- Experience in promotional products, apparel, or a related B2B sales environment is an asset but not required
- Based in or able to commute to Vaughan, ON
