What you'll be doing
The Talent Acquisition Operations team helps shape the experiences, processes, and practices that support our hiring strategy across CIBC. As a Manager, Candidate Care and Talent Acquisition Operations, you'll lead three key areas of this role: people leadership for the Candidate Care Specialist team, training and change enablement for the broader Talent Acquisition (TA) function, and process improvement across TA operations. You'll coach and support the Candidate Care team, manage escalations, and use reporting and insights to improve team capacity, service quality, and the overall candidate experience. You'll also oversee training resources and documentation for the broader recruitment team by developing clear materials such as quick reference guides (QRGs), process documents, and communications that support Talent Acquisition operations. In addition, you'll help drive change management and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational effectiveness across the TA function.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How you'll succeed
- Candidate Care team leadership: Lead and support the Candidate Care Specialist team by providing coaching, direction, and day-to-day guidance. Manage escalations, remove barriers, and help the team deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.
- Reporting and operational insights: Lead reporting for the Candidate Care function by analyzing capacity, service levels, process quality, and performance trends. Translate insights into clear actions and recommendations that improve efficiency, service delivery, and team effectiveness.
- Operational training and resources: Manage operational training for the broader TA team by designing, coordinating, and delivering training related to new and updated processes, tools, and procedures. Create, maintain, and improve supporting resources such as QRGs, process documents, training materials, and team communications to ensure they are accurate, accessible, and aligned to operational requirements.
- Operational change management: Support operational change initiatives across TA by developing communications, training, and implementation support for new processes, tools, and procedures. Help teams understand and adopt changes effectively so they can be applied consistently in day-to-day operations.
- Process improvement and innovation: Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen controls, and simplify how work gets done across the Candidate Care team and the broader TA function. Explore opportunities to leverage automation, artificial intelligence, and other innovative solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and the candidate experience.
- Relationship management: Build strong relationships with TA leaders, recruiters, specialists, and internal partners to understand priorities, align on solutions, and support successful execution of initiatives.
