What you'll be doing
You'll be joining the Chief Administrative Office's Capital Markets team, where client services and data management play an important role in supporting effective supervision and governance activities. As a Supervision & Governance Co-op, you'll support communication surveillance activities across Capital Markets and help ensure confidential information is handled with care every day. You'll collaborate with external stakeholders, contribute to project-based initiatives, and analyze communication data to support informed decision-making. You'll also help identify opportunities to improve processes and support the team's focus on operational efficiency. This is a great opportunity to build your skills in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment while gaining valuable exposure to Capital Markets.

How you'll succeed
- Communication Surveillance Support - Support the monitoring and analysis of communication activity to help manage risk and meet compliance requirements across Capital Markets.
- Confidential Information Management - Handle sensitive information with a high degree of care, discretion, and attention to privacy requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration - Build effective working relationships with external stakeholders to support ongoing initiatives and day-to-day activities.
- Project Coordination - Assist with project activities by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and providing timely updates to partners and team members.
- Data Analysis & Reporting - Analyze communication data using tools such as Excel and Power BI, and share insights in a clear and meaningful way.
- Process Improvement - Contribute to process improvement initiatives that help increase efficiency and support the team's operational goals.
Who you are
- You're currently pursuing post-secondary education. You're enrolled in a degree program in business, finance, economics, computer science, data science, or a related field.
- You can demonstrate experience in Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to analyze, manage, and report on data. It’s an asset if you have experience supporting surveillance, compliance, governance, or risk-related activities.
- You know that details matter. You work carefully and accurately, especially when handling confidential and sensitive information.
