Founded in Vancouver in 2010, CleanStart has built its reputation serving supportive housing operators, nonprofit housing providers, and health authorities across the Lower Mainland. Our signature Welcome Home program supports safe, dignified suite turnovers for people returning from hospital, a service designed in partnership with the housing and health sectors we serve.

We are a social enterprise with a national mission. Every job we complete creates meaningful employment for people facing barriers to work, including those impacted by poverty, disability, and homelessness. We hire, train, and support our team for the long term, contributing to community economic development in the neighbourhoods where we operate.

In 2026, CleanStart launched a national franchise network through CleanStart Franchising Inc., a joint venture with Just Like Family Canada. We are now expanding city by city across Canada, bringing our specialized services and social mission to communities that need them most.
