Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME), M1 and M2, based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The role involves performing line and base maintenance on a variety of aircraft types in accordance with regulatory and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting aircraft and aircraft systems, diagnosing and troubleshooting defects, completing required repairs, and verifying airworthiness before return to service. The AME will review technical documentation, follow maintenance schedules, and accurately record all work performed in compliance with Transport Canada and organizational procedures. Collaboration with maintenance teams, coordination with operations staff, and adherence to all safety and quality standards are essential aspects of the position.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Aircraft Maintenance, including performing scheduled and unscheduled inspections and repairs.
- Proficiency working with various Aircraft types and related maintenance documentation and procedures.
- Knowledge of Aircraft Systems and ability to interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Experience in Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues in an operational environment.
- Clear understanding of Airworthiness requirements and regulatory compliance under Transport Canada and applicable standards.
- Valid Transport Canada AME license with M1 and/or M2 rating; additional type ratings are an asset.
- Previous experience in commercial, corporate, or regional aviation maintenance environments.
- Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Effective communication skills and capability to follow written and verbal technical instructions.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as operational needs require.
