Marketing Manager International– Markham, Ontario
Reporting to the Senior Trade and Consumer Marketing Manager, the Marketing Manager, International leads the development and execution of marketing strategies for Brunswick and Bumble Bee across priority international markets. As the marketing partner to the International Sales team and our exclusive distributor partners, you will translate consumer, customer, and business insights into integrated plans that build brand strength, accelerate profitable growth, and deliver excellent in-market execution across the Caribbean and Central America.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Develop and execute annual marketing and business plans for Brunswick and Bumble Bee across priority Caribbean and Central American markets, aligned with volume, net sales, market share, profitability, and return-on-investment objectives.
- Partner with Territory Managers and distributor teams to identify growth opportunities, establish revenue and profitability targets, and lead business reviews and in-market execution.
- Lead integrated consumer marketing programs across traditional and digital channels, adapting strategies, creative, and communications to local consumer, customer, and cultural insights.
- Manage distributor and agency relationships across creative, digital, social, influencer, packaging, website, and research initiatives, ensuring clear scopes, budgets, timelines, performance, and deliverables.
- Lead innovation, renovation, packaging, and commercialization projects across brands, products, markets, and languages, ensuring brand consistency and regulatory alignment.
- Analyze consumer, customer, market, sales, profit, and market-share data to generate insights, recommend actions, and optimize marketing investment.
- Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Technical Services, Regulatory, and Procurement to align priorities and deliver results.
- Prepare and present business updates, strategic recommendations, and performance results to senior leadership.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing Marketing team by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and taking accountability for outcomes.
What You Bring to the Team:
- University degree in business, marketing, or related discipline.
- Five or more years of progressive marketing experience in consumer-packaged goods; food or beverage experience is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing annual marketing plans and integrated campaigns across traditional and digital channels, including social and influencer marketing.
- Experience leading innovation, renovation, packaging, and commercialization initiatives.
- Strong commercial, financial, and analytical acumen, including P&L management, pricing, profitability, budgeting, market research, and translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Understanding of retail environments and experience partnering with customers and distributors to drive growth across diverse international markets and cultures.
- Proven ability to influence and deliver results through cross-functional and indirect relationships, supported by a collaborative, low-ego approach.
- A proactive, curious, and creative mindset, with the initiative to solve problems, take ownership, and contribute beyond immediate role responsibilities.
- A passion for food and an appreciation for seafood and consumer-led brand building.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
Compensation:
- Hiring Range: CAD $105,000 – $125,000.
- Eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15%, based on company performance and the terms of the company bonus plan.
- Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
