Job Description
The machinist will operate a CNC machine while respecting cutting priorities and quality standards.
Role and responsibilities
- Operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery.
- Optimize and program cutting plans.
- Monitor cutting priorities.
- Respect quality standards.
- Complete and maintain paperwork and data operation system up to date.
- Keep workplace safe and free of dangerous obstacles.
- Actively participate in the upkeep and cleanliness of the workplace and general area overall.
- All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- DEP in machining techniques
- 2 years' experience in the manufacturing field
- Ability to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to multitask.
