As a Data & Reporting Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting project and portfolio decision-making through the development, administration, and optimization of data, reporting, and project portfolio management solutions. You will design and develop data models, reporting solutions, and interactive dashboards that effectively addresses business reporting needs to support delivering meaningful insights for strategic, financial and portfolio management and planning. How You Will Create Impact
- Administer and maintain project portfolio management platform (PPM Pro), including system configuration, user workflow management, reporting integration, and ongoing system support.
- Design and develop SQL-based data models, reporting solutions, and interactive Power BI dashboards to support business intelligence and decision-making.
- Able to work closely with business and technology partners to gather and document requirements for Data, Dashboard, and reporting needs around the organization's projects and initiatives.
- Autonomously manage and design reporting assets through enterprise tools (ie. Project Management tools, Excel and PowerBI) to enable easy and effective analysis and reports.
- Produce data and analytics to support ad-hoc requests on strategic and operational projects and initiatives with expert knowledge to extract, clean, reconcile and prepare the data required for the analysis.
- Able to autonomously perform descriptive and diagnostic analysis using recommended methods to improve information flows and views of project information with a solid understanding of project life cycles and impacts
To Join Our Team
- You have 2-5 years of experience in a project reporting, planning or portfolio management.
- You have an engineering mindset with a passion for puzzling information together to provide fact-based analysis.
- You are an expert in Microsoft Tools (i.e. Excel and Powerpoint) and knowledgeable on analytics tools and languages (e.g. MicroStrategy, PowerBI, SQL, SAS, Python, R, etc).
- You have the ability to do simple coding/programming for reporting.
- Experience working with of project management and planning tools e.g. Planview, Clarity, Monday.com, Oracle, SAP etc.)is an asset.
- You have a post-secondary education in Actuarial, Mathematics, Statistics, computer sciences or any other relevant field.
- Strong communication, time management, problem solving and attention to detail skills.

Salary information
Expected salary range $60,574 to $100,956
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
