Original job description
We are seeking a Delivery Associate responsible for
courteous and efficient package pick-up and delivery on an assigned route,
while ensuring shipments meet service standards and providing customer service.
Key duties include operating vehicles safely and efficiently, planning optimal routes,
inspecting packages, reporting stop counts, and maintaining proper paperwork.
The role involves representing the company professionally, seeking additional business
from current customers, and adhering to safety and operational protocols.
Qualifications Include a High School Diploma Or Equivalent,
a valid driver’s license with a good record, and
the ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs or maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with equipment.
Skills Required Are Excellent Customer Service, Communication, Organizational,
and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of Federal Express operations
and Canadian customs regulations is a plus. Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred.
Comfort with using computerized tracking systems and working under pressure is essential.
Additional Responsibilities May Include Loading/unloading Aircraft Or Containers,
and maintaining a neat, professional appearance. Candidates must pass driver assessments
